Imported drillhole files are processed locally.
GeoSuite reads imported geological files in the browser or desktop app on your computer; it does not upload them to Orebit. Optional Google Drive transfers use your Google account, maps and update checks make network requests, and a release-email subscription sends your email to Orebit. See the details below. The code is public.

1. Your files and results
- CSV, GeoJSON, DXF and other files you open are read locally by the browser or the desktop app. They are not uploaded to Orebit or anyone else.
- Results, block models and reports are created on your computer and saved only where you save them.
- The app may keep your current session in the browser's own storage on your computer so work survives a reload. Clearing the site data removes it.
2. What the software does connect to
- Update check: each module requests a small public file (
/03-latest.json) to tell you when a newer version exists. The request contains no data from your files. - Google Drive (only if you choose it): "Open from Google Drive" uses Google's file picker; Google's privacy policy applies to that sign-in. Files opened this way are still processed locally.
- Satellite basemap (only if you switch it on) loads map tiles from the tile provider, which sees the map area requested.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking scripts are included in the tools or on geosuite.orebit.id.
- Like every web server, ours keeps a standard access log (IP address, page requested, time, browser name). We use it for security and to count, in total, how many copies of GeoSuite check for updates and how many people open each page. No IP address is stored anywhere else or shared, and the log is deleted by the server's normal rotation.
3. Release e-mails (optional)
If you enter your e-mail address in the "Get GeoSuite" box, we store it only to tell you when a new version is out. Every e-mail has an unsubscribe link, and we never sell or share the list. Leaving the box empty changes nothing: every download works without it.
4. Voluntary contributions
Contributions via Saweria are handled entirely by Saweria; we never see card or payment details. Saweria's own privacy policy applies.
5. E-mail and GitHub
If you e-mail us ([email protected]) we use what you send only to reply. Issues and discussions on GitHub are public by design — do not attach confidential data there; reduce it to a small anonymised example.
