Privacy Policy
TL;DR: We respect your data because we don't collect it.
Orebit GeoSuite is a fully client-side application. Any geological or business data you upload never leaves your computer. All processing happens on your laptop.
1. Client-Side Processing
Orebit GeoSuite (Core, Assay, Resource) runs entirely on your laptop using WebAssembly and client-side JavaScript. This means:
- When you upload CSV, Excel, or drillhole data, it is read locally by your browser.
- We do not upload your files to any server.
- We do not store, cache, or transmit your proprietary drilling or production data over the internet.
- Once you close the browser tab, all data is permanently wiped from memory.
2. Data Collection & Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixels, or any other invasive tracking tools.
3. Payments
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. When you purchase Orebit GeoSuite:
- Your payment information is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not have access to your credit card number or payment details.
- We receive only your email address and purchase confirmation to deliver your product.
- Please refer to Lemon Squeezy's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.
4. Contact Forms & Emails
If you contact us via email (hello@orebit.id), any information you provide will be treated confidentially. We only use this information to respond to your inquiry and will not sell or distribute it to third parties.
5. Open Source Transparency
The source code for our applications and website is publicly available for auditing. We encourage you to inspect the code to verify our data handling practices.

6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. All changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
